Diane came to visit last week for one day. Yes, one day. Too short of a visit, but Claire fell in love. She had so much fun with Grandma Anderson! She was such a show off all day and played make believe. How? Well, she was too good. She barely cried, slept when she was supposed to, went to grandma right off, talked like normal (usually she's shy around anyone but us), snuggled with her (which is a big deal), and was just an all around good girl. I kept telling Diane that this wasn't normal life, but I enjoyed her being so good! We went shopping, we had yummy lunches and dinner, we looked at apartments for my brother in law, we just had fun. Since she was only here for less than 24 hours, we didn't get to do a lot, but we're excited for the next visit whenever that may be.

When I took Diane to the airport on Wednesday, we met my mom in Salt Lake and decided to go to the Beehive House. I think it's such a good place! The hallways are so small, but it is just gorgeous. The sister missionary who was mainly in charge basically drove me crazy. Sorry to say, but she did. She rushed us through in about 15 minutes, left us behind because we wanted to take pictures and actually look in the rooms. If I would have been an out of state person and there for the first time, I would have been upset. She just looked annoyed that she had to give tours. Whatever. We had a good time. We ate a cookie at the Lion House Pantry and then had the yummiest wheat turkey sandwich I've ever had at the Nauvoo Cafe. Yum! It was such a good two days.
