Yesterday had an interesting turn of events. We decided that we would go to my mom's, have Claire run through the sprinklers, go out to dinner, and see Transformers.
Claire was DARLING running through the sprinklers. It's this big beach ball that shoots water out of the sides. She had the funniest faces when she'd get wet. Seriously, so cute! Good thing I recorded it all and took pictures, right?
Brian and I enjoyed our dinner at Teppanyaki! We never go out to dinner because it's so expensive, but it was so nice and fun! We also went and saw Transformers. IT. WAS. AWESOME! Oh my goodness! I loved it! I was so excited, sad, tense, you name the emotion- that was me. Optimus is the COOLEST! I would like him to be in my life right about now. It's a definite must see!
However, after the movie, we discovered that our car was unlocked. I swear I locked it, but I guess I didn't. We always lock our car. Well, after going back to my mom's, searching and searching and searching some more, we couldn't find my cell phone or my point and shoot camera with all of that adorable video of Claire in the sprinklers. I just sobbed. I had them both in the console because I didn't take my purse (diaper bag) with me on our date. They weren't in plain sight, and we were parked under a street light. Really? Do people really do that? Brian kept trying to cheer me up by saying that they probably have a horrible life if they're resorting to stealing. It didn't cheer me up. I just want them to get their comeuppance. I hate them. (Yes, I'm a terrible person and I guess I can't forgive people right away, but I'm not feeling that forgiving about it yet). Who cares about the phone. We were going to get rid of them soon anyway, but I want my video's back! Ugh. I'm so frustrated! Anyway, kind of ruined the night. This is where knowing Prime would be ideal. He would go and find my stuff, chop off their arms like Ammon did in the BoM and I'd have my stuff back. That would be nice!
Anyway, I hope you all had a happy 4th. I guess we get to all enjoy our freedoms, right?
