What a Ca-RAZY month of the year! I think I need a week off just to learn how to breathe again! I'm almost done making Christmas presents (whew!) and trying to enjoy the days until Christmas. My Christmas recital is on Monday and although I am so excited to see my kids perform, I can't wait until it's over at the same time.
Some things we've done recently is....we went to ZOO LIGHTS! I was so incredibly impressed! Better than temple square in my opinion (although I still love temple square). It was so much fun and we did see some of the animals. I think Claire's favorites were the monkeys....and the monkeys. After that she got more into pushing her own stroller than looking at animals. We went with our good friends who moved to SLC. We don't see them enough and we miss them like crazy. Too bad the days of walking over to their house are gone.

Claire even got these awesome little slippers out of our zoo trip. I didn't think she'd like them that much, but she will wear them all day long. On Sunday she did NEW THINGS! She watched a movie for the FIRST TIME! That was huge....and I was very grateful because I did not feel well. We also got her hair in pigtails for the first time. They are adorable and she looks like such a big little girl. I swear I just had her yesterday...

This is how I've felt all month long. So tired!

Here is my picture at 25 weeks. Remind me that stripes are not my thing. Ugh.

I can't really say how I've been feeling pregnancy wise lately. I've been so preoccupied with other things that I really just feel stressed; however, I think being pregnant is amplifying my stress and making me a little short-circuited sometimes. I have hit the hunger phase. I never thought it would happen since it was coming so late, but it did. Obviously I've ballooned out in the last little bit (obvious to me at least). I have started to feel him move more and that makes me relax a little bit. This has been a more worrisome pregnancy, so it's nice to know that he's in there and moving around. I'm still trying to get used to our name that we've picked. I love it and I want to keep it, but I am still trying to adjust to the fact that we're having another baby and that it's a boy. It hits me some days, but then kinda fades until the next realization shock.
I have had a harder time with the whole gaining weight during pregnancy thing this time around. I don't know why, but man....I'm excited to be in my regular clothes again. If I was one of those women that just gained weight in her belly, that would be AWESOME, but for some reason, my legs (THIGHS) think they have to have a baby as well. Darn those thighs.
One thing that I know for sure is that the maternity world needs to figure out a better way to maternity pants. The blasted things should be thrown into the incinerator until every woman applauds at their disposal. I despise them.
I've started babysitting our friends little girl twice a week. Are babies really that SMALL???? Seriously! Claire came out a toddler, right? Thank goodness that's a no, but still! She's such a good baby, but I think we have a little jealous toddler running around the house. It's good for her. When I'm not holding Adi, Claire is fine. The minute I'm holding her it's books, books, books; hugs and more hugs. Even though she's jealous, Claire still loves to give her kisses and look at her tiny fingers. I wonder how she'll be with a baby around all the time. She's such a cutie and we're lucky to play with her a couple times a week. :)
One thing that is ultra, ULTRA pathetic, but I love. Once again: bareMinerals. I play with them every night after Claire goes to bed. I also have a very wonderful husband who looks at what new color scheme concoction I've come up with. I've never been into makeup like this, but it sure is fun! I'm like a 5 year old little girl playing with her fake make-up set. Pathetic, I know.
